Hikmah Studies: Journal of Religion, Narrative, and Thought (e-ISSN : xxxx-xxxx) is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed by Rumah Jurnal UIN Bukittinggi and published by Universitas Islam Negeri Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for the publication of high-quality research and critical studies in the fields of religion, narrative traditions, and intellectual thought, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and contextual approaches within Islamic and broader religious studies.

Hikmah Studies publishes original research articles and scholarly papers addressing, but not limited to, Islamic theology (ʿaqīdah), Qur’anic and Hadith studies, Islamic philosophy, religious thought, religious narratives and texts, Islamic history and civilization, language and literature, da‘wah and religious communication, as well as religion and society. The journal welcomes contributions from students across all levels of higher education (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral), as well as collaborative research between students and academic staff.

The journal is published quarterly (four issues per year) and implements a blind peer-review system to ensure the objectivity, academic rigor, and integrity of all published manuscripts. Each submission undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by evaluation by qualified reviewers with relevant expertise in religious studies, humanities, and social sciences.

Hikmah Studies is committed to fostering critical inquiry, strengthening research culture within higher education, and contributing to the advancement of religious scholarship, narrative studies, and intellectual discourse at both national and international levels.
